This report presents findings from the 2014/15 New Zealand Health Survey (NZHS) about amphetamine use in the last 12 months (past-year) in adults 16–64 years of age.  It also reports the mean age of past-year amphetamine users. Data was self-reported and collected from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015.

In 2014/15, 0.9 percent of adults used amphetamines in the past year. The mean age of past-year amphetamine users was 33 years.

After adjusting for age, the prevalence of past-year amphetamine use has declined since 2003 (2.7 percent). However, there has been no change in prevalence since 2011/12.
