As part of the evaluation of the Meningococcal Immunisation Programme, an evaluation of the initial roll-out was undertaken.
Purpose
The evaluation objectives were:
- To determine how well the programme is achieving its objectives;
- To determine whether the strategies being employed in the regions involved in the Initial Roll out are effective;
- To describe the Initial Roll Out and identify lessons learned and critical factors to assist successful implementation of the programme in subsequent District Health Board DHBs);
- Assess planning for national roll out of the programme in DHBs not involved in the Initial Roll Out
