The key findings of New Zealand's Workplace-based Learners for 2014 were:
- 139,000 people in industry training (including apprentices).
- 41,800 apprentices including 25,200 New Zealand apprentices (new in 2014).
- The five-year qualification completion rates of industry trainees and apprentices continued to increase.
